Welcoming Present

She spends the days sitting by the window looking out at such fast paced city.
It's mid-December, winter is starting to kick in, however the sun warms her insides.
The colors are all grey, but from her eyes the rainbow everywhere has a resemblance.
This time around her past is no crucifix, it doesn't bother her, neither does the awaiting future, for the present is colorful & welcoming.
All at once everything begins to make sense, fear is no longer a dear friend.
She makes room for her present subconscious & let's go of the reverberating thought.
Fear is no longer her dear friend…

Quotes

"There are times when it is hard to believe in the future, when we are temporarily just not brave enough. When this happens, concentrate on the present. Cultivate le petit bonheur (the little happiness) until courage returns. Look forward to the beauty of the next moment, the next hour, the promise of a good meal, sleep, a book, a movie, the likelihood that tonight the stars will shine and tomorrow the sun will shine. Sink roots into the present until the strength grows to think about tomorrow."
